Can't Print Xrays in Carestream

Introduction: If you are receiving an error when trying to print xray's within Care Stream please follow the instructions. 

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Access the Printing Options:

   • Open the xray you want to print.

2. Navigate to "File":

   • Click on the "File" menu located in the top left corner of your application 

3. Select "Print Setup":

   • From the "File" menu, find and click on "Print Setup." This will open the printing settings.

4. Choose the Appropriate Printer for Each Type:

   • Within the printing settings, select the printer based on your printing requirements:

   • For Black and White Printing:

     • From the drop-down menu in the printing settings, choose the printer you would like to print B&W

   • For Color Printing:

     • In the drop-down menu, choose the printer you would like to print Color

   • For Large Prints:

     • In the drop-down menu, choose the printer you would like to print B&W

   • For Drawings:

     • For drawings, select the choose the printer you would like to print Color

5. Confirm Your Selection:

   • Ensure that you've selected the correct printer for the type of printing you intend to perform.

6. Print Your Document:

   • Once the printer is selected, click the "Print" button within the printing settings to initiate the print job. Your document will be printed according to your chosen printer settings.
